DASHERZ CUSTOMER PRIVACY NOTICE

Who operates DasherZ

DasherZ is owned and operated in Jamaica by Bytora Limited. Bytora Limited is responsible for operating the platform, coordinating orders, handling customer support and responding to privacy requests and complaints.

Information we use

We process your Jamaican mobile number to send and verify sign-in codes; account and session identifiers; delivery names, phone numbers, addresses, map pins and instructions; cart, order, payment status, support and review information; and device push tokens if you opt in to notifications.

Location

You may enter an address and place a map pin. The customer app does not require continuous background location. It may request access to your current position when you choose that feature; you may deny permission and enter your address manually.

How information is used and shared

We use information to authenticate you, check service availability, calculate and deliver orders, process payments through the selected payment provider, provide support, prevent abuse and maintain service records. Relevant order and delivery details are shared with the restaurant and assigned rider. Card details are entered on the payment provider’s hosted page; DasherZ does not ask for your card number in the app. Twilio delivers SMS verification. Firebase Cloud Messaging may deliver push notifications when enabled.

Security and retention

We use authenticated access controls and encrypted transport. Bytora Limited retains information for as long as needed to fulfil orders, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain required business records, then deletes or anonymizes it when no longer needed. You may request access, correction or deletion through support, subject to legal record-keeping duties.
